We thought it was time to introduce ourselves. We aren’t your average accountancy firm, we take a no nonsense, logical and human approach to your books with a touch of personality too!
Bedford Accountants Ltd was born in 2016 – we have over 15 years’ experience and cover all services from bookkeeping to corporation tax and everything in between. But we are sure you aren’t here just to learn about our services…well here we go:
We are a family business and, wait for it…we are all women!
Rebecca Ayles is our esteemed leader, director and the founder of Bedford Accountants Ltd. She was surrounded by an entrepreneurial family when growing up so running her own business has always been in her blood. The best way to describe Becca (inside and outside of work!) is fierce…once you are under our wing we work incredibly hard to protect and grow your business. When Becca isn’t pouring her heart and soul into her work she loves to socialise, being a super busy household, her and her husband (a successful MD himself) are always hosting friends and family.
Ann is our payroll manager and has a wealth of experience under her belt. Ann is the mum of the family, she had her own business that merged with Becca’s in 2017 and never looked back! Ann absolutely loves to bake much to the dismay of our waistlines as she is always bringing in goodies for us. When she’s not in the kitchen she’s in the garden embracing another one of her hobbies. At the end of a long day, Ann likes to kick back with a good book.
Candice has been with us since Bedford Accountants Ltd was established, she is a huge asset to the team mainly for her superwoman organisational skills! Candi is currently undertaking further training to get an AAT qualification – we are advocates of developing our team’s careers here. Outside of work Candi loves spending time with her family…we will never know how she juggles a big family, work and manages to make it look effortless.
Finally, Heather our administrator and creative genius! Also being surrounded by entrepreneurs since she was a child – Heather is a professional photographer in her spare time whilst studying to finish her degree. Heather is our technical whizz and has created a lot of the infrastructure behind Bedford Accountants Ltd. She has big aspirations of changing the world and we are with her every step of the way!
